Purasolve Brake Cleaner is an ultra-safe, residue free cleaning solvent for brakes and other technical applications developed to replace highly toxic & explosive brake cleaners.
20 L, 200 L, 5 L, EACH
Purasolve Brake Cleaner can be used for:
Use sparingly, applying Purasolve Brake Cleaner neat with a cloth, brush or spray method. Apply the minimum amount of product to the component (enough to moisten but not soaking or dripping wet.)
Begin at one end of the part, cleaning in the usual manner.
For a quick-dry surface, air blast or wipe off with a dry rag. Remember Purasolve Brake Cleaner has a slower evaporation rate than more hazardous solvents.
Purasolve Brake Cleaner is slow evaporating, extending contact time, and resulting in a significant cost saving from a reduction in the volume of cleaning solvent used.
Because Purasolve Brake Cleaner is slow evaporating it does not leave residue, meaning the surface des not need to be re-cleaned.
Purasolve Brake Cleaner is free of chlorinated and halogenated solvents, improving user safety. It also contains no offensive odours, providing more pleasant working environments.
Purasolve Brake Cleaner has very low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions and less hazardous waste for disposal.
With low VOC levels and low vapour pressure product use is up to 20 times less than comparitive solvents without the dangers of highly toxic exposure. The slow evaporation also allows for extended contact time with the cleaning surface.

Not only have we eliminated a high risk solvent, we’ve also reduced our usage. Incredible product! Mechanical workshop
Choosing a traditional brake cleaner poses a rather unsatisfactory question. Do you choose the flammable highly toxic one, or the alarmingly very highly toxic one? It’s not such a nice question to consider and, of course, there is no good answer – or is there?READ MORE
Tetrachloroethylene may be a chemical you’ve never heard of, but chances are pretty good that it’s a substance you’ve been in contact with. This is especially true if you use brake cleaner.READ MORE
Maintenance engineers and mechanics world-wide are at an unusually high risk of nerve damage from n-Hexane based cleaners and degreasers. n-Hexane is a solvent that damages nerves. Long term exposure to the chemical can lead to permanent numbness, tingling, weakness and reduced sensitivity. The effects of n-Hexane are most acute in peripheral areas such as feet, hands, legs and arms.READ MORE
