Purasolve Surface Prep can be used for:
Use sparingly, applying Purasolve Surface Prep neat with a cloth or brush. Apply the minimum amount of product to the wiping rag (enough to moisten the rag) but not soaking or dripping wet. Begin at one end of the part, cleaning in the usual manner. Fold the rag over to expose more of the dampened surface, reapplying the minimum amount of Purasolve Surface Prep.
For a quick-dry surface, air blast or wipe off with a dry rag. Remember Purasolve Surface Prep has a slower evaporation rate than more hazardous solvents.
Purasolve Surface Prep is slow evaporating, extending contact time, and resulting in a significant cost saving from a reduction in the volume of cleaning solvent used.
Because Purasolve Surface Prep is slow evaporating it does not leave residue, meaning the surface des not need to be re-cleaned.
A lot less product is required to do the same job, significantly reducing hazardous waste disposal costs.
Purasolve Surface Prep is free of dangerous chemicals, improving user safety. It also contains no offensive odours, providing more pleasant working environments.
Purasolve Surface Prep has very low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions and less hazardous waste for disposal.
Purasolve Surface Prep is non dangerous and non explosive providing improved user safety. It also eliminates handling and use risks that are associated with explosive solvents.
With low VOC levels and low vapour pressure product use is up to 20 times less than comparitive solvents without the dangers of highly toxic exposure. The slow evaporation also allows for extended contact time with the cleaning surface.

Its use allowed the company to avoid regulatory demands, representing savings in administrative time and in investments in control technology, as well as a decreased potential for future liability concerns. Transport Industry Manufacturer
Because of the low toxicity of the purasolve product we found that we could launder and reuse the wipe rags used in cleaning. We had been disposing of these rags as hazardous waste. Parts Manufacturer
Tetrachloroethylene may be a chemical you’ve never heard of, but chances are pretty good that it’s a substance you’ve been in contact with. This is especially true if you use brake cleaner.READ MORE
Chemicals such as Acetone, MEK, Toluene carry the risks of workplace illness and accidents, and environmental pollution fines and penalties. These solvents are still widely used for industrial cleaning and degreasing, despite safer, and more cost effective, substitutes being available.READ MORE
Acetone is a common industrial solvent used to clean metal surfaces prior to welding. Unfortunately, when acetone fires and explosions occur in the workplace, the consequences are usually devastating. Serious injuries, burns, toxic smoke inhalation and even death are the common outcomes.READ MORE
Cleaning hard metal surfaces in preparation for painting, welding or inspection is a common and important task in some industries – but it comes with some potential dangers.
Traditional surface cleaning processes often involve the use of hazardous chemical solvents such as Acetone and MEK. These common industrial solvents create workplace hazards and health risks to people who regularly use or come into contact with them.
Forgacs removed the Acetone health risk and fire hazard by substituting it with purasolve Surface Prep which, despite being safer, produced better results with far less product used. Overall this occurred at a cost saving to Forgacs.READ MORE
