S2S Sailor Wipes are disposable, lint-free cloth wipes infused with CPC500, a corrosion preventive compound listed on the Qualified Products List (QPL) under MIL-PRF-16173E. They are designed to provide rapid, field-applied corrosion control for metal surfaces requiring routine maintenance, touch-up protection, or temporary preservation.
The wipes deposit an ultra-thin, non-hardening corrosion-inhibiting film that is dry to the touch. This film displaces moisture and helps prevent rust and corrosion while maintaining inspectability and ease of reapplication. Sailor Wipes support fleet readiness by enabling quick corrosion mitigation without curing time or specialized application equipment.
