S2S CPC 500 is a corrosion preventive compound formulated for the protection of metal components exposed to harsh marine and industrial environments. It deposits a soft, non-hardening protective film that displaces moisture and provides long-term corrosion protection during storage, shipment, and in-service use.
CPC 500 is listed on the Qualified Products List (QPL) under MIL-PRF-16173E with Amendment 2, Class 2, Grades II and III, and is approved for use on U.S. Navy and allied defense assets. The product is also specified in allied naval maintenance standards for corrosion protection of marine equipment and systems.
